Enjoy a week trek within pristine surroundings in the harmony of the high peaks of Annapurna Himalayas with Himalaya Ultimate Adventure.

An exciting country walks far from the main trail in the complete wilderness of a mountainous zone. Where walk follows the scenic ridges in our wonderful adventure to Mardi Himal High View Point Trekking.

Mardi Himal High View Point Trekking, which is not too far from the picturesque city of Pokhara. Located right at the base of towering Machhapuchare Himal the famous Fish-Tail, the virgin and unclimbed peaks of the Himalaya range.

The adventure leads to high green hills covered in dense woods of tall rhododendron, oaks, pines, and fir tree lines. As the walk progresses tree lines fade to smaller bushes of juniper and rhododendron, as the trail follows on a wide-open plateau.

Where Mardi Himal High View Point is located, Mardi Himal is listed as a trekking peak at 5,587 m and 18,330 feet high. Stands next to the staggering Machhapuchare Himal which rises at 6,993 m high, and dominates the skyline and Pokhara valley.

Mardi Himal high scenic plateau also called the ‘Other Sanctuary’, by early pioneers and explorers. Due to its proximity distance from the main Sanctuary where Annapurna base camp is located which is west of Mardi Himal.

The adventure begins from the beautiful city Pokhara and beyond its valley rim heading to the foot of Annapurna's southern hills.

The climb starts heading towards a nice grazing field at Australian Camp, also called Thulo-Kharka, a place with nice lodges.

From this scenic spot enjoy the panorama of Annapurna and Manaslu Himalaya range with Dhaulagiri and Machhapuchare Himal.

Walk then follows on the main trail and soon diverts heading towards the north, away from villages and farmlands.

As the walk progress off the beaten tracks within dense tree lines which soon gives away for small alpine shrubs. Finally reaching High Camp and then on the highest spot of the adventure at Mardi Himal High View-Point.

On reaching our high destination enjoy tremendous views of the stunning scenery of Annapurna Himalaya range of peaks with Manaslu Himal.

An amazing place standing beneath towering Machhapuchare Himal and Mardi Himal at close distance, after wonderful exciting moments.

The return journey leads to an alternative route to the bottom of Mardi Himal at Siding village for a short drive to Pokhara. A great wonderful place to complete our great adventure of marvelous experience on Mardi Himal High View Point Trekking.

Outline Itinerary:

Day 01: Arrival in Kathmandu and transfer to hotel.

Day 02: At Kathmandu for trek preparation and sightseeing tour.

Day 03: Fly or drive to Pokhara 860 m and transfer to hotel -06 hrs.

Day 04: Drive to start point at Kande 1,530 m and walk to Potana 1,900 m via Australian Camp 2,050 m- 05 hours with drive and trek.

Day 05: Trek to Kokar Forest camp 2,520 m via Deurali 2,100 m - 05 hrs.

Day 06: Trek to Low Camp 2,970 m - 05 hrs.

Day 07: Trek to High Camp 3,700 m - 05 hrs.

Day 08: At High Camp for hike to Mardi Himal View Point 4,500 m-06 hrs.

Day 09: Trek to Siding village 1,340 m-06 hrs.

Day 10: Walk to road-head and drive to Pokhara 860 m- 02 hrs.

Day 11: Drive or fly to Kathmandu and transfer to hotel.

    Best Seasons:

    Mardi Himal High View-Point Trekking, for all seasons of the year-round, except the monsoon wet times. The best seasons are in spring and autumn/fall, where days are crystal clear for views and pleasant walks.

    The springtime’s begins from March till May, the high seasons for trekking around Nepal Himalayas and to Annapurna scenic hills.

    Most days are clear fine and bright with sunshine, which can get overcast in the late afternoon. Chances of snowfall sometimes on higher terrain, cold in the morning late afternoon, and nighttime. The mid-hills are lively with wildflowers in seasonal bloom, especially the rhododendron of various species from trees to short bush.

    The next best time is in autumn/fall, one of the peak seasons. For trekking around the Himalayas and Mardi Himal high ridges, most days are crystal clear for views

    and scenic walks. However, the days are shorter due to fewer sun-light hours, much colder morning and late afternoon till night time.

    Chances of snowfall sometimes during the walk around higher areas above 2,000 m high, but with a clear starry night sky.

    Religion, Culture of Annapurna Himalaya region:

    Gurung are the main inhabitants of the Annapurna Himalaya range as far as Lamjung Himal areas. On Mardi Himal trek. Populated with Gurung tribes follows Tibetan Buddhism known as Mahayana or Greater Wheel. Established by great Guru Rinpoche Padamasamba in the 7th Century, reforming Buddhism which was near to extinct.

    The culture, tradition, and heritage are similar to its Tibetan predecessors, the Gurung are farmers and raise livestock. As well famous Gorkha soldiers enlisted in British, and Indian armies, including Singapore Police.

    Interesting Gurung villages on this trek are Kande, Australian Camp and Potana to Siding, other places are temporary settlements from Deurali to Siding villages.


Detail Itinerary

Day 1:

Arrival in Kathmandu and transfer to hotel.

On arrival in Kathmandu at Nepal international airport, received by our staff and guide for short drive to your hotel. Located amidst the main city, check into your rooms and join in for trek briefing with other members of the trip. Our guide provides information about the trekking trails, local lodge, and culture and so on. Evening group dinner an introduction to Nepalese meals and traditions.
Day 2:

At Kathmandu for trek preparation and sightseeing tour.

Enjoy the free day for trek preparation and join for an interesting sightseeing tour around historical, cultural and religious places. Kathmandu is steeped with World Heritage Sites, our city / cultural guide will takes you around the great places of historical wonders of great interest. Afternoon free for individual activities and trek preparation.
Day 3:

Fly or drive to Pokhara 860 m and transfer to hotel -06 hrs.

Early breakfast and depart for Pokhara, a drive of 5-6 hours exciting overland journey through Nepal countryside. Riding on main busy interesting highway then reaching at beautiful city in Pokhara by the serene Phewa Lake side. Where most good hotels are located, enjoy the afternoon facing views of Annapurna Himalayas and the Lake. (Options for short flight of 30 minutes to Pokhara from Kathmandu)
Day 4:

Drive to start point at Kande 1,530 m and walk to Potana 1,900 m via Australian Camp 2,050 m- 05 hours with drive and trek.

Start the morning with an hour drive to the foot hills of Annapurna Himalayas at a small village of Kande. From here walk begins with climb into cool shade of forest to a scenic flat field at Australian Camp. Which is also known as Thulo Kharka a grazing ground for local villagers cattle, with number of nice lodges. From grand panorama of Annapurna and Manaslu Himalaya range with view of Dhaulagiri Himal and Machhapuchare Himal. After a refreshing rest, walk continues down on the main trail with short up to Potana for overnight stop.
Day 5:

Trek to Kokar Forest camp 2,520 m via Deurali 2,100 m - 05 hrs.

Morning enjoy the glorious views of Annapurna peaks, and start walking uphill through forest to Deurali. A scenic hill with few lodge and shops, facing grand scenery of Annapurna and Dhaulagiri Himal. From here our route diverts from the main trail heading into complete wilderness towards high ridges and mountains. As route follows into dense woods with climb for few hours reaching a wide forest clearing at Forest Camp or Kokar for overnight in a simple basic lodge.
Day 6:

Trek to Low Camp 2,970 m - 05 hrs.

After a pleasant overnight at Forest Camp trail follows to a steep climb amidst forest path. Facing occasional views of snow peaks, and then slowly the walk ends for the day at Low or Badal Camp. A nice lovely small settlement with few nice simple lodges.
Day 7:

Trek to High Camp 3,700 m - 05 hrs.

From Low Camp, walk leads to a steep climb on a high ridge of Mardi Himal, as trek continues slowly leaving the tall tree lines behind. Heading towards our overnight destination, and then finally reaching at the end of walking at High Camp. The highest spot for overnight stop, located on a high ridge with few good lodges facing views of dramatic landscapes and snow peaks.
Day 8:

At High Camp for hike to Mardi Himal View Point 4,500 m-06 hrs.

Staying at High Camp for another overnights, morning day hike to our final destination at Mardi Himal High View-Point. The trail leads to a narrow high ridge path above green forested hills and valley, then reaching our major goal at Mardi Himal High View Point. The highest spot of the adventure standing beneath towering South Face of Machhapuchare Himal and Mardi Himal. Enjoy the spectacular panorama of Annapurna Himalaya range of peaks with rolling hills, after a wonderful time head back to High Camp for overnight stop
Day 9:

Trek to Siding village 1,340 m-06 hrs.

Morning a long downhill leads you back into dense forest and lush green vegetation, on leaving the High Camp. After hour of good walk, downhill continues then reaching at the bottom of Mardi Himal high ridge at Siding. A nice small farm village for overnight stay, as well the last day around the hills of southern Annapurna and Mardi Himal.
Day 10:

Walk to road-head and drive to Pokhara 860 m- 02 hrs.

Last day walk of the adventure, having breakfast a short walk to the motorable road. Then taking a local vehicle for few hour drives to beautiful Pokhara for last overnight stop around Nepal Mid-West and within Annapurna Himalaya range. A perfect place to conclude our memorable and enjoyable short adventure to Mardi Himal High View Point trekking.
Day 11:

Drive or fly to Kathmandu and transfer to hotel.

Morning after a pleasant time in Pokhara and around high hills of Annapurna, depart for Kathmandu. On the same interesting highway past farm villages and town then reaching Kathmandu, by late afternoon. Rest of the day free at leisure for individual activities and shopping souvenirs. (Options for flight to Kathmandu from Pokhara of half hour scenic flight)
Day 12:

At Kathmandu free day at leisure.

In Kathmandu we have spared a day free to enjoy individual activities, as well for shopping souvenirs of Nepal. Interested people can join in for another exciting sightseeing tour of Patan and Bhaktapur worth a visit.
Day 13:

Depart for international departure.

Transfer to Nepal international airport in Kathmandu, as per your international flight time, our guide and staff transfer you to the airport.
